Desson Thomson Washington Post Each movie casts light on the others. And after watching all three, a profound blending of the stories percolates in your head. ;-) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member The second film in Trilogy is a hilarious comedy about a man who believes he has very little time left and therefore he plans his own testament. This is a french comedy that - unlike many other french comedies - is toned down, and that makes it really fun to watch. Especially scenes like when Alain changes his will according to what he encounters during his day. The film has scenes that is nicely incorporated into the previous story. Looking forward to the last chapter. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Ok. Disappointing after the pace of the first film. Expected more cross-references Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member The trilogy gets slightly derailed in this second instalment but it is still worth watching. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Poor mans three colours trilogy Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Belvaux's trilogy is an absolute joy. 3 films in completely different genres with overlapping plot lines, each focusing on different characters, but revisiting some scenes and adding some hidden detail. Take the day off and watch the 3 of them back to back. Fantastic :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
