We sympathize with him despite his familial transgressions. Each Russian child's plight is captivating and harrowing. The Barriuso brothers succeed in creating a film that is equally heartbreaking and inspiring.

The storyline was compelling. The visuals of CUBA before and after were very interesting to see. The determination and transformation of the main character was well established. Enjoyed it very. much

A beautiful movie, that is still haunting me several days after I saw it. The scene with the main character reading aloud the poem of a Russian boy about the beauty of the light of the Chernobyl explosion was especially moving.
