Samantha D This was really interesting and not at all what I expected. Not a normal horror, it kept me interested trying to figure out what had happened to get the characters where they were. The plot gives you a little bit at a time, lots of beautiful scenery, and kind of a mystery to unravel. I can see where folks who just like gore might need their quick fix, but there's definitely some crazy kills. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/13/25 Full Review Jason T I really hope that they make a sequel. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/13/25 Full Review Khaliany D Worst movie, bad plot, no connection or explanation of anything, BORRRINNNNNG!! wasted my time fr. I would put no stars tbh. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/07/25 Full Review Pedro H It's possible this movie started out with some good ideas. Unfortunately, none of them made it into the final cut. Despite this, Uncontained is not the worst film ever, so it has that going for it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/06/25 Full Review Haku K After watching Uncontained, my overall impression is that this is clearly the director’s debut film—it’s filled with awkward and unpolished moments, and the editing in particular feels quite amateurish. Still, the story as a whole is fairly engaging. That said, the villain’s motivations feel completely ignorable, and the worldbuilding leaves a lot to be desired. Apparently a global zombie outbreak has occurred, yet everyone still seems to be living comfortably—doing whatever they please without any concern for resource shortages. Even the police seem to be operating just fine in this so-called apocalyptic world. In the end, I think it’s best to just focus on the protagonist’s emotional journey, along with what happens inside the house and between the mother and her son. Everything else can pretty much be thrown out the window. And as for the post-credits scene… it was utterly baffling. It really just felt like a half-baked attempt to set up a sequel. XD Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/04/25 Full Review Joel P I bailed half way through. Then I went back and finished it. I shouldn't have bothered. Bad acting and story. A real chore to get through.
