Anupama Chopra Hindustan Times UnIndian has stray moments of warmth and humour, but it's just not enough. I am interested to see what Mr. Lee does next, though. Rated: 2/5 Jan 4, 2017 Full Review David Stratton The Australian Despite these flaws, the film is engaging in its cheerful celebration of community. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 26, 2015 Full Review Philippa Hawker The Age (Australia) Director Anupam Sharma presides over a film bristling with supporting characters and plotlines of varying success: a melodramatic subplot involving Meera's former husband feels way out of place and references to sponsors are decidedly unsubtle. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 16, 2015 Full Review Renuka Vyavahare The Times of India The speedster's fans won't be disappointed for sure. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 7, 2017 Full Review Rachit Gupta Filmfare The only good thing about this frivolous romance is its leading man and his good looks. Rated: 2/5 Oct 31, 2017 Full Review Shilpa Jamkhandikar Reuters Other than a few smart lines, UnIndian doesn't have too much going for it. Jun 6, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Cringe-fest. Wish Lee had picked a better movie to kick off his acting career. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member What an amazing blend of actors and cultures of two countries. Music and songs are absolute delight. There are some authentic Bollywood tunes which are captivating. The story has a great message for the audience. Light mood film and very well played by Bret Lee and Tanishtha. Would like to see more such films. I watched it on Stan I would surely recommend. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolutely loved it .... unique setting, a hot Brett Lee, with an even hotter Tannishtha Chatterjee. She looks hot, she should do more such roles rather than just the maid, slum, poor lady roles. Brett Lee ...what can I say cant wait to watch him again. Kudos to the director and the crew for extracting some great performance from a fast bowler. Yes a lot of cliches but they are there with a pinch of salt and treated as cliches ...tongue in cheek. Must watch ...its on Stan in Australia I think and Hotstar in India . Music grows on you and is a great fusion of India and Australia Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member The film is a really good combination of Indian and Australian Culture. The Lead actors have done justice to the characters Meera and Will, well portrayed. This film is a really good series of emotional which could be related to a typical Indian Family culture and Aussie trends. I wasn't very much interested in the songs but the film hold the viewers attention all the time. Overall, it is a light entertainment film with a genuine social message. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member UnIndian was previously screened as a UK premier at our UK Asian Film Festival and due to its popularity we screened it again recently 27th September 2019 at Harrow Arts Centre. The screening was a laughter riot and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves especially at ICN! What a fantastic cast bringing together international artists. We had a number of requests from the audience asking for the film to be shown again! Aman Dhillon Festival & Projects Manager at Tongues on Fire, UK Asian Film Festival Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A beautiful Australian single mother of Indian ethnicity, falls in love with an Australian named Will. The storyline is scandalous as itâ(TM)s UNindian; the movie is scandalous because itâ(TM)s cricket Brett Lee who is playing the role of Will. And he is clearly no actor. And it is a basic and predictable plot. Still, it is an easy-to-watch and entertaining-enough romantic comedy. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
