The movie was as bad as the description on Netflix "a very chiseled but somber detective... " With a catchy lead like that who could resist That's 24 minutes I'm never getting back, thank goodness I didn't bother staying for the rest of it.

This crime movie was great. Javier Rey, Veronica Echegui, Brays Efe, Ernesto Alterio, Antonio Resines, and the rest of the cast did a great job in this movie. The plot of the movie was entertaining, thrilling, and suspenseful. It's about finding a serial killer that kills people just like it happens in comic books and discovering who you were meant to be. If you haven't seen this movie yet, check it out sometime. It's worth watching.

It's pretty fun at times and there's some interesting ideas presented, but ultimately, ‘Unknown Origins' is dragged down by trying to be too many things at once which means it ends up being shallow and tonally messy. If it had picked one genre and ran with it and delved deeper, it could have had something very cool.
