Vivi My heart touched deeply. My tears dropped. I can truly feel the pain of those innocent, courageous people under severe persecution. This is an important film for the world to see. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/30/22 Full Review Joseph This was a good film, and making a clear point about the persecution of Falun Gong — unbelievable that something like this is still going on in the world. Its a great intro into whats happening in China, even up to today. There were some parts that were a bit convenient, plot line-wise and with people happening to be in certain locations coincidentally at the right moment, but over all the film is impactful in the right ways. Definitely worth the watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/22 Full Review MT This is the kind of movie Hollywood is not able to make anymore. Kudos to Taiwan for allowing the filming. Locations are excellent. Recreating a dirty Beijing in 1999, 10 years after the students massacre is a great achievement. This story might go down in history as the next holocaust Now: solid structure and character development. Makes you wonder whether youll stand for the truth. Love the reporter character. Too many coincidences to make the story move on. Ending is predictable until the very end. Grading and editing on point. Recommended! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/22 Full Review Sophia Thank you for producing such a powerful and meaningful movie. I literally couldn't speak for a while afterward. I noticed that so many of the names in the credits are anonymous, persecution is continuing to this day. Great historical movie I've watched, strongly recommended. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/09/22 Full Review Ben Incredibly moving film. I usually don't like too many foreign films, but I barely even noticed that this was in Chinese and I had to read subtitles. Captivating, moving, heart breaking, and the most incredible aspect is it is a TRUE story. I'd say this is my favorite indie film I have seen in a long, long time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/22 Full Review Jane The story tells about how a group of college students in China risks their loves and lives to resist being silenced by the communist regime. Gripping storylines. Very moving. Absolutely an eye-opener. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/22 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Nick Schager The Daily Beast As a straightforward and enraged exposé of China’s fondness for propagandistic deception and murderous oppression, Unsilenced has a topicality that helps it occasionally transcend its storytelling limitations. Apr 12, 2022 Full Review Michael Rechtshaffen Los Angeles Times Informed by actual events, the unfailingly fervent "Unsilenced" overcomes some problematic scripting and evident logistical challenges to emerge as a moving portrait of conscious resistance in the face of political oppression.
