Audience Member TV doesn't get much better than this, especially for the time. Edgy, fast-shooting, hard-hitting, ham-fisted gangster action based upon the actual writings of the real Eliot Ness, essayed by Robert Stack. This full-length feature (with snappy narration) served as the pilot for the successful series, and it certainly isn't hard to see why it worked. Riveting exploits of Chicago's seemingly last band of honest men as they battle the charismatic Capone during prohibition. Viewed on state-of-the-art VHS.
