Udita Jhunjhunwala Firstpost As far as war dramas go, Uri: The Surgical Strike is a confidently made film that comes out guns blazing. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 14, 2019 Full Review Anupama Chopra Film Companion Ultimately, though, this dance between realistic terrorist drama and rousing action thriller proves to be too much. Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 14, 2019 Full Review Namrata Joshi The Hindu Whichever side of the political divide one may stand, one can't dismiss Dhar's canniness and craft, despite knowing that he is lionising the obvious and providing a one-sided narrative. Jan 12, 2019 Full Review Pradeep Menon Firstpost A great military film should leave you shook; Uri: The Surgical Strike might have to just settle for shaking up the TV schedule on Independence Day. Oct 17, 2023 Full Review Saibal Chatterjee NDTV The war actioner is both bland and patchy. Rated: 2/5 Jul 21, 2020 Full Review Poulomi Das Arré If the film had released 20 years in the future, it could actually have been considered a tribute to our armed forces. Right now, however, it just feels like like well-made propaganda. Mar 11, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Skb Master piece. Clean. Respectful. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/20/22 Full Review Sushant P One of the best military movies of all times. THE best indian military movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Bhaswaran M One of the best army movies in India❤ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Ramesh C This is a good story from historical or fact-base. But you take a good basic narrative and fill it up with Bollywood fluff - and you get this. Some really outlandish stuff. An intern building a drone... that looks like a hawk... with wings flapping... and the intern is sent out to the field - at a forward post so he can help with the mission... the drone/bird flapping its wings outside the terrorist base, and a kid, fascinated with the bird, tries to grab it. And in a truly Bollywood BS style - the hero - Major Sherrill - decides that he wants to confront the main terrorist - so, what do we do? hand his rifle to a jawan (private), go alone to find the baddie and do a hand-to-hand combat. Being that this is a Bollywood prod, he knew the baddie also wants to do a hand-to-hand? This is an example of how Bollywood takes a good story and mucks it up! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/03/23 Full Review Jasleen Kaur S Amazing movie each time I watch it I never ver bored. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Uri: The Surgical Strike is the dramatized account of the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack by Indian forces against terrorist camps based in POK. It is a rousing Indian patriotic film which gets your heart thumping. The movie got stunning cinematography, good dialogues and is well paced. The action does become unrealistic at times with the hero doing impractical one on one combat, but overall the fight choreography looks modern and smart delivering us explosive scenes. The casting is superb, Vicky Kaushal shines in the lead and so does the supporting cast. It does feel like a propaganda film, and I feel there is nothing wrong about that. PS: It is one of those movies were the best parts are shown in the trailer itself. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
