      Audience Member En 1939 Jose Garces (Antonio Canal (cine) - adulto, Jorge Sanz - joven), se encuentra prisionero en el campo de concentracion de Argeles (Francia) por defender a los republicanos en la Guerra Civil. Consigue mantenerse vivo gracias a los recuerdos de su primer amor Valentina (Maria Rubio - adulta, Paloma Gomez - joven). Jose tuvo una apasionante historia de amor a los 12 anos, nadie le comprendia excepto su maestro Mosen Joaquin (Anthony Quinn). La actuacion de Jorge Sanz, con 12 anos, impresionante, ya entonces despuntaba, muy bueno su rostro expresando, y muy sincera la mirada. Es una historia preciosa, que sobre todo narra el tipo de amor que pueden sentir unos ninos, tan puro y tan limpio, que da una nostalgia enorme. Ademas de retratar la epoca que vivieron nuestros abuelos. It's something wonderful how a child writes an anthology of poems from his own, and he asks his friend to give them to his first and only love after he grows up and dies.
