You can't quarrel with the lensing and acting, but the overabundance of coincidences keeps Vivere from reaching its full potential. Go to Full Review

The wave-like Rashomon structure of the story, combined with the steady pace and moody look of "Vivere" are lulling, but in the end the situation is neither believable nor fantastic enough to be very compelling. Go to Full Review

With truly fine performances, resulting in several riveting scenes, one can easily overlook the dingy cinematography and bothersome sound track to befriend this beguiling look at loneliness. Go to Full Review

08/15/2010 It takes awhile to like the movie... See more 11/02/2008 A strong film with a beautifully urban look. The film shows us one day in the life of three womwn connected to each other by incredible consequences. The film doesn't suffer from it's sometimes quite far stretched use of coinsidence as a plot device, but manages to convey a feeling of a miraculous quality everyday life. Great acting provides the finishing touches and everything works very well. See more 09/24/2008 I loved this movie, it weaved an intricate web of perceptions, full of realistic hopefullness and a view to the cracks in us that shatter surrounding matter, but open our world to new frontiers See more 09/20/2008 a bit choppy in the begining, but all in all a wonderfull film zooming from the mundane to the profound.. it seems angelina maccarone likes drawing lonely characters in alien environments.. mature, human, solid See more 08/21/2008 The script was painfully bad at times. The film wrenched my stomach with how stupid it thinks the audience is, but a lot of good can be said for the sheer style of this one. Obviously a directorial development from Fremde Haut, but ultimately a film oughtn't be shot before the script is fixed.
