Matthew Taylor Starburst The bare bones of Voices should work - they just don't. Instead, what viewers are left with is a lumbering, haphazard, uninteresting mess of a film that's far better left unseen. Rated: 1/5 Apr 29, 2021 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film The most compelling reason to watch this film would be if you're making one of your own and you want to know what not to do. Rated: 2/5 Apr 9, 2021 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X The film's diverse elements might have fared better... if they'd been explored in separate projects, rather than lopsidedly blended together. Rated: C+ Apr 7, 2021 Full Review Peter Sobczynski eFilmCritic.com I suppose it deserves points for sheer audacity, the finale is nether dramatically satisfying nor crazy enough to justify watching the rest of the film to get to it. Audience Member Boring and slow. The guy who played Brendan (His name is not in the cast) is ugly. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Didn't hate it. It was shot a level higher than an Uncork'd production, so not too amateurish. I will say the story flowed consistently. For me there were a few eye-rolls, but never thought, "that doesn't make sense." I could tell the writer put a lot of effort into the story itself. Unlike a lot of stuff out there that is 2hrs long and drags out to fill runtime, there was something happening in each scene. Some of the actors were good, some mediocre, none were bad. It's not scary though. It reminded me of a Life-time movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Very well done, original in its story, yet does have vibes of "Ghost Whisperer." The special affects are not on par with a big budget flick, but as another review wrote, you can see a lot of love went into the making of this movie. Highly recommend! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought it was good, I love a good suspenseful movie. The actors were pretty good, a few errors were spotted with the eye contact of Lilly. Madison was just a precious little actress. I loved her connection with Lilly. Will watch again. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member This one was pretty good. There are flaws of course. It felt a little too much like the Sixth Sense and the acting (at least for the male actors who just don't have the star power of the females) not the best I've ever seen. The plot, while overly complicated, was original and bold. Voices has a lot of heart. I can tell some love went into its production. Watch it.
