Walter is new in town. Grace is leaving town. After sparking an untimely connection, two lonely, midwestern artists decide to spend a weekend together. As they wander the city of Grand Rapids, they dive a bit too deep with oversharing and get into some wide-ranging conversation topics: lactose intolerance, climate change, photography, food-themed superheroes, purity culture, and other normal stuff. As their separation rapidly approaches, Walter & Grace are forced to let go of what they want in order to get what they need.

Audience Member What a great “walk and talk” movie! Jessie Carl shines as Grace. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/21/25 Full Review Kyle M Liked it even better the second time. An intimate portrayal of medium-city life and the self destructive patterns people in transition find themselves. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/10/25 Full Review Jackson P This film is incredibly charming. It's definitely acknowledging its niche in the indie filmmaking world rather than trying to pretend to be a large studio film, and that makes its intimate storytelling all the more endearing. Some of the visuals are really beautiful, and the quirky charm of the characters is fantastic. Definitely recommend this one! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/13/25 Full Review Read all reviews
