Walter is new in town. Grace is leaving town. After sparking an untimely connection, two lonely, midwestern artists decide to spend a weekend together. As they wander the city of Grand Rapids, they dive a bit too deep with oversharing and get into some wide-ranging conversation topics: lactose intolerance, climate change, photography, food-themed superheroes, purity culture, and other normal stuff. As their separation rapidly approaches, Walter & Grace are forced to let go of what they want in order to get what they need.

not only is this film shot BEAUTIFULLY in my town of grand rapids, michigan, but it is now one of my favorite romantic drama/comedy films!! the storyline hits so close to home. it's so relatable, exciting, shocking, sad, silly, and joyful all at the same time. this is a MUST watch film for anyone who enjoys coming of age, romcom, drama, or heartfelt films! i was absolutely gutted at the end. it was shot better than some super famous films I've seen! go watch it rn!!!!

This film is incredibly charming. It's definitely acknowledging its niche in the indie filmmaking world rather than trying to pretend to be a large studio film, and that makes its intimate storytelling all the more endearing. Some of the visuals are really beautiful, and the quirky charm of the characters is fantastic. Definitely recommend this one!
