Audience Member I bought this at Value Village for a $1.99 knowing it would be plastic shit cartoon garbage. White, middle-class "actors" playing their fantasy of tough guys. Just kill me now. Buda bang buda bing - what a beautiful thing. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member In the era of The Sopranos, it feels painfully redundant and inauthentic. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member excellent horrible mob flick. Comes complete with obvious plot devices, tired mob flick actors and track suits. P.S. I got this flick for $2 at a Hollywood Video going out of business sale and it made my entire afternoon. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member these movie look like something real or could happend Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I have this movie. I like the part when he pees in the soda! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member If you like mob movies, you'll like this one. its about a group of boys that have grown up together and stick together no matter what. They want to make a way to move up in the world so they go into the bad boy stuff..lower income made but still worth watching. Gary Dowell Dallas Morning News Despite all the talking, by the time the bloody climax arrives we still don't feel enough of an attachment to these guys to care one way or another. Rated: C- Apr 4, 2002 Full Review Andrew Sarris Observer On the whole, the movie lacks wit, feeling and believability to compensate for its incessant coarseness and banality. Mar 13, 2002 Full Review Stephen Holden New York Times If there's nothing fresh about Wannabes, which was written by Mr. DeMeo, who produced and directed the film with Charles A. Addessi, much of the time the movie feels authentic.
