Former CIA agent Nick Randall (Rutger Hauer) now makes his living working as a bounty hunter. After the authorities find out that a criminal mastermind, Malak Al Rahim (Gene Simmons), is responsible for blowing up a number of buildings in downtown Los Angeles, the police department calls Nick in to help. Nick, working with his buddy -- former cop Danny (William Russ) -- and his old partner (Robert Guillaume), signs on for the dangerous mission of bringing Malak down.

As he did in Runaway, rock-star Gene Simmons makes a truly despicable villain. How the terrorist character he plays here gets his just desserts makes for a truly fantastic finish.

If you love Mid to Late 80s Action Flicks then this movie is for you! Wanted Dead or Alive is a solid 80s Action Flick full of great one liners and testosterone. No Soy-Boys here, just real Men who mean business! God do I miss the 80s. My only problem with this movie is that it did not have a sequel.

Pure 80's. Rutger is as great as ever and Gene Simmons does surprisingly well as the villain. It builds to its action conclusion very nicely and then goes satisfyingly postal. Very cool and enjoyable if you like your 80's action flicks. **** the bonus indeed.

Synopsis
