David W Pure 80's. Rutger is as great as ever and Gene Simmons does surprisingly well as the villain. It builds to its action conclusion very nicely and then goes satisfyingly postal. Very cool and enjoyable if you like your 80's action flicks. **** the bonus indeed. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/08/24 Full Review Bryan B It's fun watching Gene Simmons be a bad guy in this. Fun for KISS fans. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Rutger Hauer really shines in the opening and closing of this, but ultimately he is rather underserved in this fairly pedestrian 80s action vehicle. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/30/21 Full Review Audience Member This is an underrated action classic with a great performance by Rutger Hauer. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Another real cool 80s action movie with Rutger Hauer as the good guy for a change even though he's still tough ! I love watching 80s Rutger, he's so sexy and cool. A real manly man and very interesting to watch, Mr Hauer gives everything when he's acting, which very few of today's young actors seem to do. This is a must see for all Hauer fans old and new. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member brilliant hero and villain, classic of its time... just wanted bit more Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times There are times during the movie when the greatest mystery is whether or not Rutger Hauer is trying to speak with an American accent. Sep 6, 2010 Full Review Chuck O'Leary FulvueDrive-in.com As he did in Runaway, rock-star Gene Simmons makes a truly despicable villain. How the terrorist character he plays here gets his just desserts makes for a truly fantastic finish.
