I watched interviews with the guy, and while the movie tries to make things more interesting, its succeeds to be more boring. That movie doesn't come together and doesn't know what it is. The performances also don't feel good. The humor will hardly get a chuckle out of you, the drama feels wooden. Its not awful, but you should find better stuff to do with your time. I think this film is underrated. I've read other reviews of Phillip's copying Scorsese. Well, if you are going to copy anyone for this type of story, let it be Scorsese. I think Phillips did a great job on this. Loved the cinematography, the grading used well to add atmosphere. Overall just hooked on the story, and enjoying the soundtrack. Was just thinking how Hill is a fan of the Beastie Boys and right when that happened So Whatcha Want comes on. Love those moments in cinema. Rated 4.5/5 Stars •  Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/05/25 Full Review thiago s Filme legal pra caralho, o roteiro é legal pra caramba, gostei da dupla milles Telles e o jonah hill, gostei também da trilha sonora e achei legal a história como desenvolveu, eles viraram traficantes de armas viajando por países como Jordânia, Albânia, Iraque, e outro eu acho, no final eles foram presos e liberados e o milles teller voltou a ser massagista, para terminar, o Bradley cooper deu uma maleta de dinheiro por causa do acordo e acaba o filme, esse filme é Legal pra caralho, e eu recomendo esse filme. Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/05/24 Full Review Dave C I've just watched this again, having seen it a few times before. It is still as visceral and entertaining as I remember. It is JH in his absolute element, and it works because of his bravado and talent. For every moment of entertainment this delivers, it plays out another that is totally unreal! These stories captivate because they're about underdogs working the system, exploiting loopholes, bending rules, breaking the law, and doing what corporations and elite operators do all the time. They stick in our minds because they're also about the underdogs - the main characters, getting squashed by the same institutions. They make us question what happens, and why - is it fair, moral, ethical?
