Glenn Kenny New York Times 6d
Wittrock’s performance as the rather hard-to-like Thomas is acute; he’s a callow guy who mistakenly wagers that art can exorcise his demons even as he desperately skirts the prospect of making amends. Go to Full Review

This charismatic actor holds the camera effortlessly, and it’s good to see him again in a leading role onscreen, even if the film turns out to be disappointingly thin. Go to Full Review

The movie-within-the-movie is a statement on truth and fiction, and, interestingly, that idea carries over to the film proper, allowing us to wrestle with the blurred lines. Go to Full Review

Anchored by a nuanced lead performance from Finn Wittrock, the sometimes-jumbled Westhampton is a well-acted drama about a filmmaker who goes back to his hometown and experiences backlash for making a movie based on a tragedy that he caused. Go to Full Review

Gregory V @GreggVallarta Jul 2 I'm not sure what the point of the movie was. It was very slow, and the ending was senseless. The lead character played by Finn Witrock did an excellent job with a boring and meandering script. The movie was confusing and just plain boring. There are better options to waste 90 minutes.
