Rex Reed Observer Nick Stahl is a skillful master of how to move the gore with exactly the right pace to exude charm in spite of his character’s ongoing toxicity. He gets what he wishes for and ends up with more than he bargained for. Rated: 3/4 Jun 27, 2024 Full Review Glenn Kenny RogerEbert.com One of the things that makes the movie work is that it acknowledges this fact but then makes the premise terrifyingly credible. Rated: 3/4 Jun 4, 2024 Full Review Kyle Smith Wall Street Journal Without straining to make an obvious point, Mr. Tomnay uses black comedy and shocking splatters of gore to tweak the class of jaded plutocrats who are as asset-rich as they are morals-poor. May 31, 2024 Full Review Aaron Murray Loud and Clear Reviews There’s a visceral idea within the film’s narrative that has enough potential to be particularly powerful in execution, but the result is something a little safer and, unfortunately, less interesting than it could be. Rated: 3/5 Aug 4, 2024 Full Review Rachel Wagner rachelsreviews.net The supporting cast is also excellent and the screenplay delights with every gory and shocking turn Jul 8, 2024 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media This food-focused thriller is a tad familiar and perhaps even predictable, but it still manages to throw in enough secret ingredients to keep things simmering. Melody M Can blumhouse pick this movie up and make a what you wish for 2??? Incredible movie doesn’t get the recognition it deserves just because it’s a low budget film. I need a 2 to be made in another part of the world pls!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/10/24 Full Review Tracey J Spooky how dangerous humans can be if they get too rich. Good movie Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/30/24 Full Review Audience Member I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/26/24 Full Review Julio R It's a well-made film. Its drama is contagious precisely because it's a subject we're not used to and somehow it's not approached in a grotesque or overly violent way. All the characters fulfill their role, their good performances make it possible for the film to flow appropriately so that it's never boring. From beginning to end, little by little this film leads you to understand that human beings have moral limits as well as imperfections. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/25/24 Full Review Audience Member No where near as gory as the subject matter. Although it's rather contrived and nihilistic, it can still be an enjoyable horror movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/23/24 Full Review Green C Stomach-churning but I couldn't stop watching. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/18/24 Full Review Read all reviews
