A joyful tender portrait of South Africa, not deep or political. Think of the protagonist "Elvis" as a modern day Odysseus trying to back to his Penelope.

I fully realize this is full of clichÃ (C) and some kitsch, too; and, which is worse, it has the aesthetics of a soap or television series. But this is not the full truth: it has some very good shots, too. And above all it made me laugh a lot, maybe due to the setting where I saw it (a small African film festival). So: three .stars malgrÃ (C) moi.
