A.L.Jude P Headed nowhere with a surreal theme. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/07/24 Full Review Elizabeth F A reminder of why we love indie movies. Combining humor, violence and action in a survival landscape. Worth the watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/28/24 Full Review Cate P We enjoyed the movie.Dark film with really good cinematography. You could feel the isolation and cold. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/28/24 Full Review Allison L This is a film for genre fans with a sense of humor about grisly violence. If that's you, get ready for a new take on a suspense/horror/chase/buddy film that's also a road movie. It's a psychological study of men in the woods with a classic man vs man theme. Those woods are deep Russia in winter, so it's also man vs nature. It's funny and keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's entertaining enough for popcorn, but you need a strong stomach as it has some intense gore. I recommend it because it's genre-twisting and offers a fresh take. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/27/24 Full Review A M A fun little indie that punches way above it's weight class. This action-packed character drama really leans into exploring the psyches of a disparate group of people, thrown into an extreme situation, and fighting for survival. If you liked The Grey, The Edge, Alive, or other survivalist movies, this one is for you. Whiteout wastes no time meandering aimlessly. This movie is punchy, to the point, and a fun ride, really hitting it's stride once our leads find themselves out in the brutal wilderness.
