Fun performances make Who’s Yer Father? crowd pleasing hokum, a mostly good time, but like a lot of parties, even ones with laughs and good food, it goes on a bit too long.

After watching the all-in dumb Maritime crime comedy Who’s Yer Father?, you’ll have absorbed the equivalent of a glossary of Prince Edward Island-isms. It's a pretty broad comedy for such a small island, but it has some charm and a silly laugh or three.

When it comes to jokes, [the] film takes the easy road, but when it comes to weaving an Elmore Leonard-esque story of colourful misfits caught up in a messy criminal scenario that only gets worse, Who’s Yer Father? sometimes loses the plot.
