Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Why Would I Lie? made me very angry while I was watching it, because it is both a glorification of the arrogant stupidity of its central character, and an insult to the intelligence of its audience. Not a bad double play. Rated: 1/4 Nov 6, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Great movie! Must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member I saw this a long time ago. I vaguely remember it being watchable. A very typical 80's sort of movie (whatever that means). Whether or not it would stand the test of time, I'm not sure. An ringing endorsement it's not, but if I were stuck at home waiting out a cold, I would definitely consider this movie over many others on the list. Seriously, how many movies on the interactive display on cable or dish are repeating bowel movements that just fill the lists? Or the endless series - Real This and Real That. Maher and Gumbel, you both SUCK. Especially that ugly phony Maher. I digress... but why would I lie? Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
