09/25/2020 Just downright stupid. At the end, I was laughing. Oh, so you didn't kill her and just rolled her down the hill. Wow! She didn't die and returns to kill her evil lover. What a surprise. No. But the cop who comes out of nowhere and kills her that was a surprise. Where the hell did he come from? And the fact that two people live 30 years without an incident of insanity to show for, all of a sudden become psycho murderers, enough to want to chop someone to death? Right. Angie Everhart is a con artist who seduces then frames her step-son for his own father's murder. It's on Lifetime! I don't give a rat's ass if I anger the feminists but any movie that appears on Lifetime is NOT a noir picture. A good noir picture is dark, foreboding, sad, tragic, usually black-and-white (hence the term noir) and starring some actor or actress who is convincing as a tragic character. Whoever is billing this film as such is either clueless on movies or just clueless in general. Angie Everhart is so adorable but she is one of the all-time worst actresses. Rent Another 9 1/2 Weeks or the second Tales from the Crypt movie with Dennis Miller. Not necessarily the most riveting movie and certainly one of those movies where you're left feeling bored. (And yes, I watch Lifetime, if there's sex involved I'll watch it). See more 09/02/2008 Actually a pretty darn good movie for being Skinemax-type material.
