Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle It's not a complete or radical reinvention, but by quietly inserting symbolism and imagery that wouldn't feel out of place in Excalibur or The Legend of Robin Hood, Foxwood gives a shining valor to Lily's ride into battle with her ghosts. Rated: 3/5 Sep 26, 2024 Full Review Jonita Davis The Black Cape This film is the first time that I've seen generational trauma literally fought in a medieval fashion. The ultimate message is that the family must first acknowledge the trauma, and then face it bravely before it can be defeated. Sep 26, 2024 Full Review Norman Gidney HorrorBuzz A monotonous exploration of a trauma cycle, highlighted by some wonderful performances and an all-too-important message. Rated: 5/10 Aug 26, 2024 Full Review Bee Delores B-Sides & Badlands The film glistens as a reflective timepiece about a young woman’s navigation through her pain and rage – all bottled up as a drama woven with fantasy/horror elements. Rated: 3.5/5 Jul 2, 2024 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat Wild Eyed And Wicked is a film that ambitiously tackles a variety of themes and genres, and for the most part, it succeeds. Diana S I read both positive and negative reviews before watching this movie. It's long and a bit drawn out. The poster makes it seem like a medieval movie when it's set in present day. I didn't care that much about the characters in this show. Spoiler the demon feeds off negative energy, and to stop the creature you must bring items that can destroy it like the things you love. The ending was mediocre. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/07/24 Full Review Liam O There are better uses of your time than wasting it watching this weak, badly scripted and shoddily directed movie Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/04/24 Full Review Amanda D Worst movie I’ve seen in a long time. It is so long and slow with many things that don’t make sense. The ending left me unsatisfied. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/23/24 Full Review David L This movie is not about what was marketed. It is a slow poorly written movie which never starts and has not action. The topics are juvenile at best. Do not waste your time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/13/24 Full Review fabio v if there was any good idea in it, by the 50th-minute mark I had exhausted my patience to find out Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/11/24 Full Review thomas s The poster is very different then the film. It's about a modern age depressed lesbian that just so happens to be a fencing instructor eventually battles a physical form of depression thats followed her family for generations. The whole film is depressing, I skimmed though Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/11/24 Full Review Read all reviews
