There were many sub plots that were not necessary. It was more about flashbacks and the childhood of this man. I thought it was going to be about Make-a-Wish, but it was more about the childhood. Unknown actors and a seemingly small budget film, yet it well acted, strong story (based on a true story) and pretty good dialogue/writing. I'm looking forward to seeing more work by the young lead, Andrew Steel as well. But wish was a better movie overall See more 01/19/2021 Honestly I liked it. However I have a couple of problems. One They said that Michael (the boy who's dying from Cancer) has a week to live. A) A child with that little time left wouldn't have that much energy. B) even if his hair grew back a little bit after stopping chemo I highly doubt he would have that much hair. c) if a child had a week to live and was dying from cnacer I would highly doubt he wouldn't be in a wheelchair.
