The movie was not a lot about the foundation. There were many sub plots that were not necessary. It was more about flashbacks and the childhood of this man. I thought it was going to be about Make-a-Wish, but it was more about the childhood. It was slow moving and a little boring, but not terrible.

This movie surprised me. Unknown actors and a seemingly small budget film, yet it well acted, strong story (based on a true story) and pretty good dialogue/writing. I'm looking forward to seeing more work by the young lead, Andrew Steel as well.

Honestly I liked it. However I have a couple of problems. One They said that Michael (the boy who's dying from Cancer) has a week to live. A) A child with that little time left wouldn't have that much energy. B) even if his hair grew back a little bit after stopping chemo I highly doubt he would have that much hair. c) if a child had a week to live and was dying from cnacer I would highly doubt he wouldn't be in a wheelchair. Plus he honestly didn't look that sick.

It had a good foundation. It should have been a heartfelt, feel-good movie. However, too many plotlines, horrible acting (especially the child actor), and a god-awful story writing got in the way. It was a waste of time and if I hadn't been forced to watch it, I would have turned it off in the first 5 minutes.
