nick s Well told murder mystery. The recounting of the lead up to the crime is seen through the eyes of different witnesses. It's quite a nicely constructed story. Ending was a little abrupt. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review martin a Dirk Boggards American accent is awful, but the film was great. The four people who knew the victim or hated her give their opinion of what she was like. The killer is revealed at the end. Great stuff Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A film made from multiple perspectives as police investigate a murder. It's the strong performances reflecting different takes on the same events which make this work. Bias and self-promotion influence each witness ingeniously as they give their accounts. This set up also, possibly inadvertently exposes the fallacy of the camera as a neutral observer. If each account is different, it's the camera which creates that difference. Logically if the camera constructs different versions of the truth, it's a small step to say no one version is true. With a whiff of Rashomon and an affection for the working class characters, this is well worth a watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Very watchable murder mystery that has something of an 'Agatha Christie' storytelling style.
