Convinced that mutants pose a threat to humanity, Dr. Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) develops the Sentinels, enormous robotic weapons that can detect a mutant gene and zero in on that person. In the 21st century, the Sentinels have evolved into highly efficient killing machines. With mutants now facing extinction, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) volunteers to go back in time and rally the X-Men of the past to help change a pivotal moment in history and thereby save their future.

It’s start is a bit jarring, the future Sentinels look pretty generic, and I could list a few other nitpicks. But in terms of story, storytelling, and sheer entertainment, the movie scores where it counts.

The stakes are through the roof in this film, brought together by stunning visuals and strong performances by the cast, establishing itself as a worthy inclusion in the iconic X-Men universe.

As soon as the movie ended, I threw the Blu-ray disc in the garbage, where it belonged. Whenever a movie completely changes that which came before it, I consider it to be lazy storytelling and inexcusable.

Everything you want in a X-Men movie. Theres so many scenes in this movie I found myself saying "wow that was so cool". If you want action plus a good story then this is your movie. Special props to Fassbender and Jackman

Synopsis
