Convinced that mutants pose a threat to humanity, Dr. Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) develops the Sentinels, enormous robotic weapons that can detect a mutant gene and zero in on that person. In the 21st century, the Sentinels have evolved into highly efficient killing machines. It’s start is a bit jarring, the future Sentinels look pretty generic, and I could list a few other nitpicks. But in terms of story, storytelling, and sheer entertainment, the movie scores where it counts.

As soon as the movie ended, I threw the Blu-ray disc in the garbage, where it belonged. Whenever a movie completely changes that which came before it, I consider it to be lazy storytelling and inexcusable.

Everything you want in a X-Men movie. Theres so many scenes in this movie I found myself saying "wow that was so cool". If you want action plus a good story then this is your movie. Special props to Fassbender and Jackman
