Jeff M This is a VERY low budget, roughly made documentary that will serve only as a piece of nostalgia for those who remember the show it's about. For those in the dark, YOU CAN'T DO THAT ON TELEVISION was a Canadian children's show that became a popular pre-teen staple when it came to Nickelodeon early in its run. Imagine ROWAN & MARTIN'S LAUGH-IN featuring 12-year-olds, and you'll get the idea. I watched it quite regularly as a youngster, as much to make fun of it as to enjoy it for what it was. The basic fun of this documentary is seeing the child actors grown-up. Other than that, there's not a lot here to offer. No particular scandals or juicy details - just a tribute to the show. And there's nothing wrong with that. Those who have no connection to the show will find absolutely nothing here to enjoy. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/24 Full Review Read all reviews
