My husband and watch it every couple of years and quote it all the time. It’s the stupid funny that you need after a long week. Owen Wilson plays the chaotic friend from single days who comes to stay with the newlyweds for a day or two that turns into weeks. Michael Douglas is the real estate developer/father in-law from hell. Seth Rogan has a bit-part as another weird friend reminding you why you decided to grow up in the first place. The story revolves around a father and daughter who are welcoming the new son-in-law into their home, only to find that the quirky best friend Dupree, played by Wilson, has also decided to join the fun. While the movie does have its flaws, particularly with some unresolved plot points, it still delivers plenty of laughs. The antics of Dupree are especially memorable, especially his amusing obsession with Mandy. In the end, the film is packed with amusing moments and entertaining scenarios that keep you engaged. With a touch of humorous nudity and a strong cast, it’s a delightful watch that’s definitely worth your time. If you're in the mood for a good laugh, this film is a must-see!
