Audience Member After seeing Avenge But One of My Two Eyes , I decided to see Avi Mograbi's latest documentary film which is very good. Its about a ex-israeli soldier that went with other soldiers on a "revenge" killing of innocent Palestinians in the west bank. The ex-soldiers wife asks him many questions on conscience , what does he think of the man he shot, if he had wife , children and the simple fact that he is a murderer of a innocent man. I think Avi Mograbi deserves more international praise than he does. Il cherche a obtenir le pardon pour ce qu'il a fait. Sa petite amie ne pense pas que ce soit si simple, elle souleve des questions qu'il n'est pas encore capable d'affronter. Le soldat temoigne volontairement devant la camera tant que son identite n'est pas devoilee. Le cineaste, tout en cherchant la solution adequate pour preserver l'identite du soldat, interroge sa propre conduite politique et artistique." A partir des temoignages d'un soldat et de son amie, Mograbi parvient a inventer un nouveau style de documentaire, n'hesitant pas a s'inspirer de la tragedie antique pour en tirer quelque chose d'universel. Les judicieux effets numeriques pour cacher les visages renforcent justement l'identification. Et au final, c'est assez bouleversant. A voir.
