nilufer e I usually like comedy / horror movies and even though this one had a solid background story I didn't enjoy it much, partly because I didn't like the cast and it wasn't very fun. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Cath Clarke Guardian Zebra Girl's quirky comedy is not quite distinctive enough, and the script lurches iffily into serious issues of child abuse and mental illness in the second half. Rated: 2/5 May 24, 2021 Full Review Nadine Whitney FILMINK (Australia) Ultimately, Zebra Girl does have some pertinent themes but is hampered by a messy narrative that begs more questions than it answers. Despite its failings, the film manages to be generally engaging if eventually dubious. Nov 7, 2022 Full Review Tom Beasley Flickering Myth After a soup of disappointing stabs at comedy and a laughably overwrought, ominous musical score, the movie rather limps to its closing credits. Rated: 1/5 Jul 29, 2021 Full Review Trevor Johnston Radio Times Some might cavil at the arguably lurid portrayal of mental illness, but the film shows consistent sympathy for its embattled protagonist as events slip out of her. Rated: 3/5 Jun 17, 2021 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Though the story is not a pleasant one, Roy's chilling performance gets under your skin, is forceful and stands out. Rated: B- Jun 10, 2021 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall Adapted by Derek Ahonen from his play, this blackly comical horror is given a wonderfully cinematic zing by inventive director Stephanie Zari... A superb trip into an addled mind. Rated: 4/5 Jun 3, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
