Empire Magazine Rated: 3/5 May 4, 2007 Full Review Joshua Glenn Boston Globe Zizek is a revolutionary playing a comedian playing a revolutionary. Which makes him worth watching, even in this movie. Rated: 2/4 Mar 3, 2006 Full Review Jeff Shannon Seattle Times With an exclamation point suggesting the collegial equivalent of Beatlemania, Zizek! is a movie made by a groupie too enamored of her subject to make a satisfying film about him. Rated: 2/4 Jan 13, 2006 Full Review Pamela Jahn Electric Sheep Watching this fresh, brief and enjoyable documentary on DVD is brilliantly stimulating and prompts one to think further about Slavoj iek's original, politically incorrect and ultimately vital analysis of society. Sep 26, 2017 Full Review Chris Hewitt St. Paul Pioneer Press Zizek! is a stylish, surprisingly energetic film. Rated: 3/4 Feb 23, 2006 Full Review Rob Thomas Capital Times (Madison, WI) Zizek is such an entertaining speaker -- his eyes intense, his fingers jabbing, spittle flying from his lips -- that you don't mind that so many concepts are whizzing by your ears. Audience Member Sometimes entertaining, sometimes baffling and underdeveloped documentary about a controversial psychoanalyst is funny to watch and engaging when Zizek is in a situation discussing his ideas and principles. For fans of political thought with a bit more spice. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member It has some deep moments, and some funny ones, but Zizek! gets a little mired in the unnecessary scenes, transitions, and B-roll that make the documentary half substance, half filler. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member interesting biography of an entertaining thinker Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Thank God almighty this film wasn't in 3D. Beads of sweat would fly in all directions from his perspiring forehead. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member un pò come guardare Carmelo Bene al maurizio costanzo show. le parti con il figlio sono le migliori. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I started off hating this film and Zizek. By the end I was looking up anything he mentioned. Great film.
