Although I appreciated where I think it's coming from on some of these issues... I did appreciate this movie mostly as fun and as visually witty, which is one of the things that I really miss in a lot of animation now.

Alone among the major studios, the Mouse House is invested in an ongoing project to, as they say on campus, interrogate, subvert and effectively make amends for its own past stories. That impulse can be tiresome, and in “Zootopia 2” it is.

There are moments when it was giving me a bit too much ala "Fast and Furious" but the ability to appeal to adults and kids at the same time is very impressive. This would have been perfect if they had trimmed a little fat in the story.
