Season 4 – Comedy Bang! Bang!

      2015 Comedy List
Reviews 76% Fewer than 50 Ratings Audience Score Upon first look, "Comedy Bang! Bang!" is like any late-night talk show... until the guests sit down and the interviews commence. Then it veers off in all sorts of directions, most of which include unfiltered and improvised dialogue. The show is based on host Scott Aukerman's popular podcast of the same name (and most certainly influenced by the Internet mock-talk show "Between Two Ferns With Zach Galifianakis," which Aukerman produced and directed). In each episode, Aukerman reinvents the traditional celebrity interview by engaging his guests in ad-libbed banter, all of which is punctuated by beats from "bandleader" Reggie Watts or, in later episodes, "Weird Al" Yankovic. Audience Member one of the funniest TV shows in a long time! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member HORRIBLE! AWFUL! RT save yourself the time you'll never get back from watching his unfunny crap. I feel sorry for them...I was actually uncomfortable watching them try to be funny. I've never even posted a review of anything on tv, but this show is so bad I felt immediately compelled. Ugh. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Comedy Bang! Bang! is the type of show that you have to have the sense of humor for. It's often filled with mindless jokes, and random moments that have you questioning with a just a simple "Uh, ok..." but Comedy Bang! Bang! will sometimes deliver gold and leave you laughing. The show often has great guests such as Anna Kendrick, Zak Galifianakis (on multiple occasions), Bill Hader and more. Along with a second guest with many actors showing up portraying crazy characters. It may not be for you, but you may find it funny or at the very least something to just throw on to see some of your favorite actors crack some jokes. Emily L. Stephens AV Club Comedy Bang!
