I think someone thought they were putting a new spin on that theme with this show. This was a convoluted and depressing mess. I gave it 2 stars for the acting which was quite good. If you are a real horror and science fiction fan I say "give it a miss" There are many much better choices with all the streaming services available these days. See more Craig B 11/20/2024 First of all... to the reviewers who thought it would be a great idea to give away a spoiler in the first (and sometimes only) sentence in their review... very inconsiderate for other viewers.. be better. 'Don't Come Home' is certainly not what you would expect, particularly after the first episode... and you really do have to stick with it after the first episode. I've seen some reviewers saying they gave up after the first episode... you really need to be patient with this series as it really does kick into gear in the second episode. It's not so much a full-on horror as a mystery drama with elements of SciFi and some splashes of horror. Pretty well cast with an intriguing and at times disturbing plot that you really have to focus on or you'll miss ley elements... without which you will be scratching your head at the end.
