If the whole population of earth is gone, you don't need to learn how to convert your house to solar power using books, just move into a house with Solar installed. You don't need to build a plane, just go to the local airport. While I enjoy a good movie about overcoming adversity, this movie made no sense! There were no zombies stopping you entering the hospital to get medicine and even the dead bodies in the houses around posed no threat because you're immune to the virus... Life should have been a walk in the park, not a struggle. Rated 3/5 Stars •  Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/25 Full Review Scott J I started it not knowing what to expect, I initially didn't like Ish at all but his character grew throughout the 6 episodes & I really ended up rooting for him. It was refreshing to see a post apocalyptic story that wasn't full of the usual tropes of the majority of the remaining survivors being mauraders etc. There were some stilted performances from a lot of the cast but you really end up rooting for the characters. Granted, there are some head scratching elements, expecially the conveniently empty roads & buildings pretty sparse of corpses despite the population dying in a matter of weeks. Despite this, it doesn't detract from the story too much. Definitely not a waste of anybodies time, but you can't help that they didn't draw it out by a few extra episodes considering the 20 year span of the story or perhaps tell the story over two seasons.
