Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

Nina Metz Chicago Tribune Fallout reveals itself to be a show with some potent things to say about where we’re headed if we allow corporate interests to dictate the future. Rated: 3/4 Apr 24, 2024 Full Review Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) Goofy when it’s bloody, glinting when it’s conspiratorial, and always looking for another way to surprise you, Fallout has a counterintuitive rhythm: there’s too much going on, but it feels right. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 18, 2024 Full Review Gene Park Washington Post The best part about the world of the Fallout games, and now this show, is that it’s among the most relatable science fiction wastelands. Apr 17, 2024 Full Review Samantha Schuster Cinéfilo Serial With superb universe building, strong technical aspects, acting, and character introductions, we're left eager to find out how each of the plots will continue. [Full Review in Spanish] Rated: 4/5 Jul 18, 2025 Full Review Jeff Beck The Blu Spot Fallout: Season One offers a mixed bag of a show that's very well-made, with fantastic production design, costumes, visual effects, and makeup, but falters slightly when it comes to the writing. Rated: 3/5 Jul 7, 2025 Full Review Tatat Bunnag Bangkok Post Walton Goggins shines as a ghoul embodying the franchise's morally complex ethos, while the show's striking visuals and sharp writing make it a standout among video game adaptations. Lemy L Hmm.., the story here isn't closely straightforward and simple how all this fun makes it appear to be. The following will likely unravel quite a bit. Quality stuff. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/19/25 Full Review PE Stahl . New Vegas here we go. Season 2 here we go. Season 1 was excellent in a way that watching it is like playing the game or watching a playthrough, and has some pretty good drama, intrigue and characters. Overall can go better, but still: Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/19/25 Full Review Albert S Pretty good and better than pretty good. Where will it go with season two regarding same, better, or..? Let's see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/18/25 Full Review Andreas Y "Some" say that 'War. War never changes - Ron Perlman' joins season 2. Well that's great and very promising news for further development of this show, after already very very good season we got Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/15/25 Full Review Hughe J Fallout Season 1 is based on the Fallout Franchise and the lore that world encompasses. A brief summary is that a nuclear war took place between America and China in 2077. People survived the holocaust in a variety of ways including living in bunkers known as Vaults. Season 1 largely centers on Lucy played by Ella Purnell as one of these vault dwellers who emerges into the post apocalypse and what she encounters there. The show also stars Walter Goggins, who steals every scene he's in, and Aaron Moten. As a long time fan of the games watching this show was a no brainer, but the show exceeded my expectations which were sort of low due to it being released by Amazon. The production values however were excellent, the cast was quite good, the writing was a bit over the top, but it was clear the people that made the show were fans of the games and that counts for a lot. It's far from perfect, arm thrusters - seriously, but it's a good show that both respects the fans and the lore so it's certainly worth a watch. I'm looking forward to Season 2. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/14/25 Full Review David J Fun and engaging inspection into what is good and evil and why do people do all the things they do. "Everyone wants to save the world. They just don't agree on how." Loved that quote and sums up so much of the interesting questions that this show digs into. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/14/25 Full Review Read all reviews
