Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

As a production, Fallout is impeccably thought-through, intricately detailed, scenically dazzling and richly immersive. Go to Full Review

Fallout reveals itself to be a show with some potent things to say about where we’re headed if we allow corporate interests to dictate the future. Go to Full Review

Goofy when it’s bloody, glinting when it’s conspiratorial, and always looking for another way to surprise you, Fallout has a counterintuitive rhythm: there’s too much going on, but it feels right. Go to Full Review

Anchored by stellar performances, ultra-violent sequences, and tongue-in-cheek humour – Fallout is a remarkable balancing act to behold and one so captivating it will surely become as iconic as the games before it. Go to Full Review

The best part about the Fallout series is how many references are sprinkled in for fans to point out. I had an absolute blast seeing all the little easter egg, ranging from surface level to obscure ones that only the most obsessive fans will notice. Go to Full Review

MBI M @MNZGamerX 17h Enjoyed the show as it imagines the Fallout world just like in the video games of the same name and brings us a contrast of the peaceful, restricted and polite vault society into an exciting, gripping, violent outside world and the story, plot and acting are all top level. Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins especially standout as Lucy and The Ghoul but there are also other standout performances. The world outside the vault is portrayed very well and the scenery and devastated surroundings are convincingly done and just like in the games. Season 1 introduces us to the main characters and some of the backstory as to how all this came to be and the different groups who inhabit the Fallout world. The only issue is with the character of Maximus who seems unnecessarily dim and clumsy but nevertheless has an important role in the series. Season 1 centers around a huge conspiracy within the vaults and the pursuit of a ground breaking device over which powerful elements want control. The Lucy character and actress was great. It was moments when the show didn’t take itself seriously that sometimes worked well, and other times seemed forced and campy (not the good kind). Similarly, when the story takes a serious turn for dramatic point, sometimes it was engaging, other times it felt half fast and half delivered. As a video game adaptation it’s just slightly above average, and definitely nowhere near the level of other great adaptations like Arcane/LoL and The Last of Us. See more GsMartin E @Gmaelliason 1d Successful introduction of Fallout to TV and pretty good season of TV. Great characters, good story. Vibe the feel and the look.., all on point. See more Mary @MaryTheProducer 3d The Fallout Show is impressive with how it delivers 3 converging storylines across the many different environments from the Fallout franchise. Leading to a very fun and action filled adventure with some interesting developments to the greater lore. However, at times the writing can get a little too silly for me in a way that felt immersion breaking or otherwise felt like a plot hole. Fallout fans will enjoy the many references and action shown throughout however fans outside of the franchise may struggle with the plot that is delivered but overall have a fun time. See more Thomas J @TJthomass 4d Action packed, character drama, funny as hell, dystopian, sci fi, dark and depressing. All in one tv show. See more Daniel L @Ldannyy 5d Immense world building, completely new story, new good characters, and all within Fallout franchise! See more Read all reviews
