Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) With Lee Pace and Jared Harris as adversaries, the show mostly manages to tie together personal stakes and planet-hopping history in a way that sci-fi aficionados will enjoy. Jul 14, 2023 Full Review James Jackson Times (UK) It’s impressively imaginative. Jul 14, 2023 Full Review Helen O'Hara Empire Magazine It’s not always easy – except on the eyes, thanks to that extraordinary design – but this is sci-fi that’s worth putting the time in for. Rated: 4/5 Jul 14, 2023 Full Review Terence Johnson Le Noir Auteur Long considered a novel that was unfilmable, show runner David S. Goyer has done an incredible job of leading this production to the screen. Sep 15, 2023 Full Review Jorge Loser Espinof Except perhaps Battlestar Galactica, rarely have we seen such a complex and well-built world to tell us something so dense and full of ramifications. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 4.5/5 Sep 1, 2023 Full Review William Schwartz Book & Film Globe Foundation thrives by keeping its worldbuilding constantly on the edge of creeping doom, a grim sentiment that certainly feels historical, even if it’s not necessarily psychohistorical. Ariane` K The first season intrigued me, but this second season made me a fan. The actor who plays Brother Day really steals every scene, and the story of his Trinity/brothers gets more and more interesting, along with the god-ification of Hari Seldon. Great series, can’t wait to see where they take us. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/27/25 Full Review Kevin B An absolute masterpiece! It’s just so unbelievably epic. There are no corners cut in this. The sets, the script, acting, wardrobe, drama … my word the drama ! Unmissable for sci fi fans. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/25 Full Review Justin A The second season is somehow much better than the first. From the costumes to the new sets, I was ecstatic when I found out there was already a second season of this show. Now that the base story has been flushed out in season one, the pacing is excellent in season 2. I loved that we started to see even more depth in each character's storyline with explanations as to how the characters have gotten to where they are. The mysteries that are put into this show as we continue towards the great calamity that was foretold in the first episode, I am more and more excited to see how the math works out. The show does a great job of exposing the large scope of the plot as the years go by but does not zoom out so far that the characters get lost. By showing the cracks in Empire armor and then showing how those cracks get bigger and bigger, you almost can't stop guessing as to what may be the final domino that will do the BEG in. There is a substantial amount of depth in each episode, and I think there is something for everyone in this second season. I cannot wait for them to start season 3. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/10/25 Full Review Hero W Firt 5 episodes (especially 3, 4 and 5) are really bad but after that. the show is really incredible - even better than season 1. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/09/25 Full Review Andre M The visual effects are amazing, including awe inspiring worlds and use of miniatures complemented by CGI to make things look extra real, that alone is worth a viewing. Can't wait to season 3. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/02/25 Full Review Connie M I thought season 2 was better than season 1. Again the storyline of the genetic dynasty is not in the books; but, it made the show rise from good to excellent. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/25 Full Review Read all reviews
