When she inherits her late father's tavern Happy's Place, Bobbie is shocked to learn that she has a new co-owner -- Isabella, the half-sister she never knew existed. Isabella is young, inexperienced and has some unusual new ideas about how to run the family business. But they're not alone -- there's also Gabby, the bartender with a love of drama; Emmett, the cook and man of few words; Takoda, the nicest waiter in Tennessee; and Steve, their brilliant yet eccentric accountant. Alongside their close-knit staff, Bobbie and Isabella will definitely figure out this new chapter together. After all, whether they're friends, co-workers or unexpected siblings... at Happy's Place, everyone is family.

Daniel Fienberg The Hollywood Reporter Happy’s Place does not feel like a well-established Nashville institution. It feels like a generic bar set on a studio lot and its staff feel like descriptions on a casting notice, plus Reba McEntire. Oct 23, 2024 Full Review Kelly Lawler USA Today It's just another low-rent sitcom with stale jokes, bland characters and a limp plot. Rated: 2/4 Oct 21, 2024 Full Review Aramide Tinubu Variety A reminder that more traditional comedy series can still have a place on television, especially when they can add some 21st-century flair to long-established themes and tropes. Oct 19, 2024 Full Review Tara Ariano Cracked The few sitcoms that are even still being made to be broadcast over the air can’t be genre-straddling tone poems like The Bear: premise-wise, less is more. Happy’s Place fits the brief. Rated: B- Dec 19, 2024 Full Review Joly Herman Common Sense Media Striking an admirable balance between Southern comfort and Southern hospitality, Reba McEntire's family comedy expertly bridges ethnic and generational gaps Oct 29, 2024 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Happy’s Place is a throwback sitcom that relies on character humor instead of broad gags, and that’s always something that we will root for. Gonzalo G. Reba was great and I 100% side with her character… The sister was annoying and didn’t know her place.. and Barbara Jeans character was too corny.. Very disappointed with this show. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/26/25 Full Review Luis M This Sitcom really try their best to give us really unforgettable moments or situations that we may feel somehow related to, but sometimes they fail on delivering the message. As new as it can be, the characters lack of continuity on their arcs and just give us randomly situations as a backstory to understand them but it gets chaotic when we compare that to the sense of appealing. I gave 4 stars because Reba plays an exceptional role as her co-Star Melissa Peterman, is just the first season and now we kinda have an idea of where the characters will go on the next season now in production, hopefully they make us love their characters even more and embrace us into their world or should I say “Happy’s Place”. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/25/25 Full Review Jacob H A bore. Not funny. Not sure how this is getting a second season, or how the critic score is as high as it is. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/17/25 Full Review Lorena S Fun and entertaining. Love the interactions between the characters. Funny and light for a Friday night! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/13/25 Full Review Adrea S It’s refreshing to find a clean sitcom about friendships that I can watch with my teenage kids. I know Reba had a sitcom or two in the past but have never watched them. I started watching because of Pablo Castelblanco. I loved him in Alaska Daily and was so sad when it was dropped. I also enjoy Melissa Peterman. I now have another favorite actor in Rex Linn. I think there’s a lot of detail in the sets and they are true to life. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/29/25 Full Review D H I feel bad for reading this low because I love Reba and her husband… The show does have great potential and I think if they just worked a little bit, they could actually have a good show… Sorry Reba! I still love ya Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/23/25 Full Review Read all reviews
