Elizabeth Olsen is a revelation in this. Hard to believe she is the Olsen twins’ older sister. Strong supporting cast. Jesse Plemons is always excellent in every role he takes on, and this one is no different. He plays milquetoast here just as well as he plays murderous in other roles.

It's a little talky but the story keeps your interest and the cast is excellent. Olsen is the star, but Lily Rabe is also a scene stealer. While she usually is a supporting actor which is the case for Love and Death, the relationship with the Elizabeth Olsen character is really well done.

The acting and retro 70's setting are great. It did drag a bit at times but otherwise, a fascinating tale. And killer soundtrack.

7 episodes (7 hrs) to tell a story that could be told in a 1 hr "48 hours"? There's just not enough backstory and character development to hold interest in this (rather dull) "Snapped" story. Too bad, really. Excellent actors / acting that could have been used toward a more gripping tale.

Wow. Elizabeth Olsen is phenomenal here. Her only getting a Golden Globe nomination and no Emmy or SAG is criminal. This is the best performance in a limited series (and maybe even tv show) I have ever seen. From her innocentness to her raw scream to her in court were all executed in ways that deserve way more credit. A beautifully done true story but also wildly disturbing.

Listen, was it all based on true events? NO. That being said, judging and making a review on the actual show, Elizabeth Olsen was the best actor for this show. We're not reviewing whether it's true or not true. But, the acting of a few individuals who made this show. Well done. I think she purposely did it, but, that's not what this review is about
