Camilla Long The Times (UK) This is one of those intensely watchable, peerlessly silly sci-fi shows in which people repeatedly say things like: “But you cannot leave the silo!” Jun 20, 2023 Full Review Robert Levin Newsday Well-crafted and intriguing sci-fi, perfect for fans and casual viewers. Rated: 3.5/4 May 11, 2023 Full Review Jasper Rees Daily Telegraph (UK) Perhaps, having paid for the silo, the producers wanted their money’s worth. But even as the characters clamber into its vaults, the sense of claustrophobia grows ever so stifling. Rated: 2/5 May 9, 2023 Full Review Samantha Schuster Cinéfilo Serial Great performances from its leads, excellent production work to create the universe in which the story unfolds, and a narrative pulse that keeps us in constant suspense. [Full Review in Spanish] Rated: 4/5 Jul 25, 2025 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com …as with Lost, there’s something about the way that this particular predicament is patiently explored that gives it some philosophical and intellectual heft…one hopes that Silo, unlike Lost, has some good answers for the questions it poses… Rated: 4/5 Jan 6, 2025 Full Review Joonatan Itkonen Toisto.net Peppered with a fantastic cast of character actors, terrific directing, and the promise of a bigger future, Silo is one of my favorite new series in a long while. A rich dystopian fantasy that deserves all the praise it gets. Rated: 5/5 Jul 3, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Paul S I may be going against the grain... But; my view is that the 10 episodes of Series one could have been told more effectively in 3 90 minute episodes. A limited mini series. Also, many of the strands of the story are absurd, albeit expertly integrated into the plot. There is so much filler in these episodes that the writers would have been better advised to pursue a career in dentistry. Not terrible but not great. A shorter limited series would have been so much better. Fallout achieved almost everything that silo's 10 episode run did in a single episode, and did so with humour that highlighted the ridiculous nature of human existance; especially in this genre of dyspotian nihilism. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/29/25 Full Review Janusz C Yes! God, yes! Finally a good Fallout series that we wanted and deserved. What was that? "Its Silo, not Fallout" you say? Well it has more vibe of first two Fallouts than the new Fallout show and games made by Bethesda. Now thats cleared. We can go on. I can recommend this series to everyone and anyone who is into post-apo stories will love it. The pacing is perfect. The series is ... well serialized. That's to say its not episodic and its whole a complete story. While watching it you get that its a book adaptation, not something written for a tv series. And thats good! Perfect even! Sure, IF you have read the books you will see lot of differences. Its impossible to perfectly adapt a book while at the same time make good show. But this is the closest to a perfect book adaptation since Lord of the Rings. Sure, there IS a lot of cut content but at the same where is LotR book 6 (if you've read it you know its 6 "books" published as 3 physical books for technical reasons)? Back to the Silo. The story is great, the world is great, the characters, the pacing, the history, character development, twists. All top notch. I cannot shake the feeling that Rebecca Fergusson tries to act like Katee Shackoff a little bit but still thats a good thing as she can pull off giving this impression and yet be her own character. Iain Glen is kind of like you remember him from game of thrones. Lonnie Rashid (google him) is kind of complicated love-hate character, also fun to watch. And of course Tim Robbins! Without spoilers all I can say is that he is one of the main characters that captivates audience in all scenes that he is present in. MUST WATCH. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/14/25 Full Review Nicholas S I absolutely adore the concept of the show and love all of the mystery elements to it. It feels like there's constantly something new or something we discover that keeps digging deeper and deeper great show! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/13/25 Full Review Kate M Do love a good sci fi grounded in reality and this show does a brilliant job. Cleverly structured and v well acted, I found it a gripping watch and loved the world building. Raced through this season, couldn’t stop watching it! Good to see female driven hero. Great cast all round. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/02/25 Full Review Magdalena A There was a thread on Reddit about possible adaptation of "Hyperion" and I said I didn't care as most are rubbish, someone replied: "Silo" isn't bad. That's understatement of the year as I binge watched both seasons in 4 days (and nights). I'm not going to pretend I'm a movie expert (spoiler alert: I'm not) and didn't know literally any of the cast, yet they did a really great, especially Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson), she's annoying, arrogant, even obnoxious at times, and yet you cannot help but like her - really good acting. What I like most in this show though is the fact I have absolutely no idea what THE TRUTH is (they talk a lot about truth and the truth in the show, if someone hasn't seen it, hence the capitalization) and I love it, it actually IS a mystery. Show has quite a few unexpected twists that will have saying: WTF? If you're into sci fi and/or dystopian productions I recommend that show wholeheartedly. There's book that predates the show which I don't have yet, but that will change. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/19/25 Full Review Eric P Good, but not great, I am definitely looking forward to Season 3. I'm tempted to read the books because I can't help but think the books might be superior based on watching the first two seasons. (There are parts that require suspension of disbelief that I assume are written in a way that hopefully makes parts of the story seem more plausible.)
