Ahsoka gets the fundamentals right where so many recent Star Wars productions have failed. The characters feel authentic, true to themselves, and handled with genuine care. And Hayden Christensen as Anakin? That is Star Wars at its best. Every second he's on screen is a reminder of what this universe is capable of when treated with respect. Pure art. But the series isn't without its flaws. The choreography remains a persistent weak point. Lightsaber duels still lack the weight and elegance the saga demands. And while the character work impresses, the overarching story doesn't quite rise to match it. Still, it was a step in the right direction.

So disappointing. I love the Star Wars universe and visuals; but how far has this franchise fallen? Far, far away that's how far. Recent years of Star Wars has clearly lost its way. Projects like this only push fans away to seek out other entertainment from other sources. SKIP this one!

Rosario portrays the wise aged former apprentice of Anakin Skywalker brilliantly and accurately, the return of Hayden as Anakin was superb while the story itself is unique and well told. Tying in the Rebels series while leaving room to explore a new threat to the galaxy in future shows/movies.

The first five episodes are really great. There was even an episode that gave me Empire Strikes Back vibes, which is rare. But the back half of the show largely feels like one long, convoluted Disney Plus finale that seems less interested in resolving its own story and instead wants to set up future projects.

Def not as good as some other Disney+ Star Wars shows, but still a good time. Some nice fight choreography and cinematography as well as a great final performance for Ray Stevenson.
