It’s fun and fast, there’s lots of lightsaber action, and we’re gearing up for a good old-fashioned space-chase. Go to Full Review

No lightsabers can match the firece glow of Rosario Dawson as the ex-Jedi with the funky headgear who leads her sisterhood—glory to Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Natasha Liu Bordizzo—against the Empire’s fading patriarchy. Now that's worth celebrating. Go to Full Review

There’s a surplus of exposition and familiar lightsabre battles, but Ahsoka is still more promising than last year’s Obi-Wan Kenobi. I’m sticking with it. Go to Full Review

Despite being a little slow to pick up during the first episode, Ahsoka has excellent pacing throughout the show as the stakes are immediately established. Go to Full Review

Rosario Dawson plays the character with all of the vim and excitement of a heavily medicated accountant. She floats disinterestedly on a cloud of self-satisfied contentment through most of the episodes. Go to Full Review

Mke O @Mikeoxlonger 5d Not one of the better ones. Not even close to the Mandalorian. There are too many girls and they aren't good hero's. The story is thin and forced. I suffered through it thinking it would be better. The Jedi training was lame and the light saber fights were like girls fighting in real life, not very well. They could have had better athletes as stand in's but they didn't even do that. The woke influencers at Disney find new ways to ruin Star Wars every time they touch it. See more Bob J @GametimeD Dec 19 other then Sabine this is peak Sabine can use the force now for some reason See more Ash P @AshParth Dec 15 Overall, this was decent. It's not really everyone's cup of tea, but I did get some enjoyment out of this. Especially when not getting too involved with the current Star Wars fandom due to its toxic reputation. The acting is still great. Some cameo appearances were good. The cinematography is decent, in my opinion. I enjoy the overall drama despite some of the writing being bumpy at times with a couple of the characters. Would the second season be better than how this season has done for me? Who knows until the time comes. Again, at least it is better than what I'd mentioned at the beginning of this review. I am going to give Ahsoka seven better showcasing of Anakin and Ahsoka confrontation in an Force space area out of ten. 7/10. Yeah, that's what I'm calling it because I am still wondering how Ahsoka had gotten herself in there after fighting Baylan. The world may never know, I guess. Unless an expert would explain it to me. See more Gart M @ImTheGart Dec 11 Ahsoka is one of my favorite Star Wars characters of all time and I LOVED all of Star Wars Rebels and the Ahsoka series is essentially season 5 of the show but live action. Ahsoka built up some interesting character dynamics and the planets, settings, and creatures were amazing as usual. The villains were super cool too. Only thing I would say about this show that could potentially be a negative is literally just one scene's choreography and the way they handle lightsabers but it doesn't bother me from enjoying the show. See more Ronn P. @djronnplae Dec 11 Ahsoka Season 1 feels like the spark before a wildfire. The lore is explosive, the visuals are stunning, and Anakin’s return hit like a shockwave. And Thrawn? Lars Mikkelsen doesn’t just play him, he embodies him. His presence alone shifts the entire tone of the series, and you can feel the psychological warfare simmering under every line he delivers. Season 2 is going to unleash him in a big way. I only wish a few emotional moments landed harder, especially the Ezra/Hera reunion and I definitely wanted more lightsaber action. But overall, this season lays the groundwork for something truly massive. I’m all in for where this is headed. See more JoParkerBear P @JoParkerBear Sep 28 I enjoyed it and would watch a second season — but Andor, The Acolyte, and The Mandalorian are better. See more Read all reviews
