I'll go as far as to say the best Star Wars Disney has made since Rogue One. While Andor is good, and the Mandalorian has its moments, both have their flaws. This on the other hand I can't fault with being quite picky. If the makers were aiming for a Star Wars version of the Goonies (and I think they were) then they nailed it. The story is simple but good, the cast and characters all likeable, it has plenty of fun adventure and decent action, and some tender moments. Add that this is visually one of the best looking Star Wars adventures it's a must watch for Star Wars fans young and old. The only thing I would change is the score. The theme music is weak, and this was crying out for an Alan Silvestri or Danny Elfman composition. Turns out there may be hope (A New Hope) for Disney Star Wars after all. It’s been a tough decade of drought but finally there is some of that good old Disney family magic and wonder in the Skeleton Crew Series. I hope audiences and executives pay attention - this is exactly what Disney used to do so well. Absolutely worth watching - adults will smile and kids will love it - Pirates of the Caribbean meets Star Wars universe! It’s really just good fun!
