Jonathan R Show is overall just great hits all the things for the 90s and ties the old show into this new one perfectly. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/13/24 Full Review Nick C Shows not bad almost a replica of the orginal Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/11/24 Full Review Andre D To be honest, I see it because of the adults. They are waaaay funnier. The teens are many times just cringe trying to be funny. Except Ozy, he's great. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/03/23 Full Review CK Movie Reviews While I found myself enjoying this show more with time, the main cast felt like overproduced Disney versions of That '70s Show. Red, Kitty, and the occasional cameo carried this show to a 4 star rating. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/08/23 Full Review Jakejames L At its heart, That ‘90s Show is a good follow-up for fans of the original show. It gives some answers to what happened in the years after the clock struck midnight at the end of That ‘70s Show, while also opening up the potential for more fun stories with these characters. It's only the first season with the new cast of teens and it will take some time for them to grow into their roles. Whether this show ends up being funnier or better than its predecessor is up for debate, at least for now. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/08/23 Full Review jon w Watched every episode of 70s show and maybe I've just grown up but it blows my mind anyone could get past 20 minutes of this let alone watch the whole season. It felt like a Disney kids show especially with the new charecter and acting. Every "joke" followed by canned over the top can Ed laughter was just beyond unfunny, only left this review as I was shocked it has over 70% by critics and users. It was genuinely painfull to watch and has made me dislike the show and wonder if I was just real stoned when I watched the original, how does anyone find this funny or even watchable or entertaining? Glad the cast got paid and had a reunion as they all seemed happy to see each other but my god this was bad and the worst show I've ever seen. Nick Allen RogerEbert.com A harmless, also relatively pointless piece of nostalgia that has an even deeper fondness for a mustier style: the TV sitcom. Jan 28, 2023 Full Review Steve Greene indieWire That ‘90s Show is the equivalent of a great throwback burger joint with a short menu. The food might have a familiar taste, but it finds an efficient way to overdeliver on the basic expectations. Rated: B+ Jan 23, 2023 Full Review Manuel Betancourt AV Club If you grew up watching That ’70s Show, you’ll likely have no way of assessing whether That ’90s Show works on its own. Maybe it can’t. And maybe it doesn’t even want to. Rated: B Jan 19, 2023 Full Review Anna Miller Discussing Film There’s plenty of nostalgia to be found in this redundant streaming revival, but if someone is looking for a fresh and unique story, characters, and gags, perhaps they should venture out of Wisconsin. Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 26, 2023 Full Review Erin Maxwell LA Weekly/Village Voice hat ’90s Show is reminiscent of a Disney+ series. It doesn’t live up to the standards of its predecessor, but the PG-rated antics might be amusing to younger audiences, unaware of the salacious humor its forebear did so well. Feb 22, 2023 Full Review Gabi Zietsman Channel24 (South Africa) That '90s Show strikes a wonky balance between nostalgia and new material, but it has the potential to build something long-lasting if its showrunner puts in the effort. Kitty and Red will have to shoulder the brunt of the work for a while... Rated: 3/5 Feb 3, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
