Inkoo Kang The New Yorker It’s structured such that you know you’ll have your heart broken and mended several times per episode -- it’s just a matter of how. Feb 12, 2025 Full Review Phillip Maciak The New Republic The Pitt isn’t going to revolutionize the streaming landscape, but getting swept along with its quick, confident beats, it feels defiantly different. Jan 29, 2025 Full Review Margaret Lyons New York Times A decent enough medical drama with promising episodes as it develops. Jan 15, 2025 Full Review Seth Freilich Pajiba This show should be mandatory viewing for all adults past a certain age because nobody prepares us for this experience. The Pitt gets closer to embodying it than anything I’ve seen. Feb 11, 2025 Full Review Bruce R. Miller Sioux City Journal Noah Wyle is superb in this, his element. He reminds us of the series that set a distinct tone and isn’t afraid to take it in another direction. You may not want to visit the ER, but after a few episodes, you won’t want to abandon “The Pitt.” Autumn M This is a great take on the medical drama tv show. Each episode represents one hour spent in the Emergency Room, colloquially known as the "Pitt." My husband and I both have medical-adjacent jobs, so this is a relatable show that we can enjoy together and view the life-and-death decisions that doctors make every day. There is enough personal drama to keep the action relatable and very human. Highly recommended. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/25 Full Review Teresa R I wish I hadn’t waited so long to start watching. I was hesitant thinking, oh just another ER spinoff drama, I was dead wrong. Now I’m absolutely hooked, and you will be too. I work in a hospital and they are touching on everything that really happens in a hospital. Press Ganey reports are a real thing, and shitty SLOW care in the ED because of a nursing shortage, and it doesn’t get any better when they find you a bed upstairs. I’m glad they’re touching on the reality of how a hospital works, but also keeping it entertaining with a great range of characters! Noah Wiley as the lead character was a fantastic choice. All the characters are amazing with a wide variety of personalities. So well written, and thank goodness they can all act! Bad acting can ruin even a well written show. Dr. Melissa King is a favorite. Dr. Santos most irritating! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/25 Full Review Eva B The acting is great and the plot looks accurate and realistic in most cases. However, I cannot connect with any of the characters as the whole series takes place in one day. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/25 Full Review Venessa G As an ER RN for 17 yrs, I usually steer clear of medical drama but this one is so ACCURATE! please don't cancel it! Please let America see what we deal with on a daily basis. I'm hoping to leave the ER in October because of the things that are portrayed in this series! It's not the patients or the peers, it definitely is the administration and their inability to relate or empathize with staff... only concerned about the bottom line and profit! Pathetic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/25 Full Review Edgar R It's the closest series to reality that I've seen. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/25 Full Review Joshua M After watching Greys Anatomy, House, ER and many others, it’s nice to get a show that is actually a very close adaptation to the real thing. Definitely worth watching. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/25 Full Review Read all reviews
