Andra Akers

Andra Akers was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. At the start of her acting career, Akers starred in dramas like "Murder a la Mod" (1968) with Margo Norton and "Moment By Moment" (1978). She also appeared in the TV special "Hardcase" (NBC, 1981-82). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Copacabana" (CBS, 1985-86). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Flamingo Road" (NBC, 1980-82). Akers focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the drama "Desert Hearts" (1986) with Helen Shaver, "Just Between Friends" (1986) and the comedic drama "Nothing in Common" (1986) with Tom Hanks. She also was featured in the TV movie "Killer in the Mirror" (ABC, 1985-86). Akers more recently acted in "Odd Jobs" (1987) with Paul Reiser.
