Ann Richards
Ann Richards was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Richards worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Murphy Brown" (CBS, 1988-1998). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "The CBS Cotton Bowl Parade" (1990-91), "Bob Hope's Four-Star Christmas Fiesta From San Antonio" (NBC, 1992-93) and "Willie Nelson The Big Six-O: An All-Star Birthday Celebration" (CBS, 1992-93). She also appeared in "A Passion to Play: Stories of Women in Sports" (ABC, 1994-95). In the nineties, Richards devoted her time to various credits, such as "The Big Green" (1995), "King of the Hill" (Fox, 1996-2009) and "Lady Bird Johnson: The Texas Wildflower" (1997-98). She also worked on "Intimate Portrait: Ann Richards" (Lifetime, 1998-99), "Golf Digests 50 Greatest Golfers" (CBS, 1999-2000) and "Rip Van Winkle: An Animated Special From the "Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales For Every Child" Series" (HBO, 1999-2000). Richards was most recently credited in "The Unforeseen" (2008). She also appeared in the documentary "The Journey" (2001) with Henry Winkler. Additionally, she could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Intimate Portrait: Liz Smith" (Lifetime, 2000-01) and "Last Man Standing: Politics - Texas Style" (PBS, 2003). Richards passed away in September 2006 at the age of 73.
