Antoinette Crowe-Legacy first caught audiences' attention when she took on the role of Elise on the series "The Godfather of Harlem" (Epix, 2019-). Crowe-Legacy approached her creative life with tremendous focus early on, attending Dallas, Texas' Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She would go on to attend Southern Methodist University, where she majored in acting. While obtaining her BFA, Crowe-Legacy also became involved in other theatrical productions in the Dallas area at spaces like Soul Rep Theatre and the Dallas Theater Center. She would eventually move onto the Yale School of Drama, earning her MFA while she appeared in a number of acclaimed university productions including "The Three Sisters," "Some Bodies Travel," and "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Around the time of her 2018 graduation, Crowe-Legacy found herself very busy. She co-starred in a pilot produced by fellow Yale alum Yudho Aditya, and made an appearance in the short film "Expectations" (2018). Things became even more exciting when she landed her role on "The Godfather of Harlem," a series about a gangster's rise to power during the 1960s that was inspired as a prequel to the film "American Gangster" (2007).
