Aria Shahghasemi

Actor Aria Shahghasemi got his big break when he was invited to reprise his guest role as Landon Kirby in supernatural drama "The Originals" (The CW, 2013-18) for a recurring part in its spin-off "Legacies" (The CW, 2018-). Shahghasemi studied at New York's Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater before making his screen debut in an episode of "Unforgettable" (CBS, 2011-16). He went on to guest on two other crime procedurals, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "Instinct" (CBS, 2018-), appear in web series "Socially Awkward: A Sketch Show" (2018) and play Elias in early '90s coming-of-age "No Alternative" (2018). In 2018 Shahghasemi appeared as Landon Kirby, vampire-werewolf Hope's self-aware human friend, in the fifth and final season of "The Vampire Diaries" (The CW, 2009-2017) spin-off "The Originals" (The CW, 2013-18). He then got the chance to enjoy more screentime when he joined the cast of spin-off from a spin-off "Legacies" (The CW, 2018-) later that same year.
