Beloved child actress Barbara Worth started her entertainment career at the tender age of 17. Worth began her acting career with roles in such films as the Elliott Dexter drama "An Old Sweetheart of Mine" (1923), "Broken Hearts of Hollywood" (1926) with Patsy Ruth Miller and "Fast and Furious" (1927). She also appeared in "On Your Toes" (1927), "The Prairie King" (1927) and "Below the Deadline" (1929). She continued to act in productions like "Fury of the Wild" (1929), "Plunging Hoofs" (1929) and "The Bachelor's Club" (1929). She also appeared in "The Prince of Hearts" (1929) and "Lightnin' Smith's Return" (1931). In the latter part of her career, she continued to act in "The Fighting Trooper" (1934), "Men of Action" (1935) and "Racing Luck" (1935). Worth last wrote the Jon Hall adventure "Zamba" (1949). Worth passed away in February 1955 at the age of 49.
