Actor Ben Hall was a dynamic talent on the big screen in dramatic roles. Hall's earliest roles were in film, including "The Skyrocket" (1926) with Peggy Hopkins Joyce, the Mae Clarke musical comedy "Nix on Dames" (1929) and "South Sea Rose" (1929). He also appeared in the drama "Wall Street" (1929) with Ralph Ince and the dramatic comedy "The Millionaire" (1931) with George Arliss. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Bill Boyd drama "Racing Luck" (1935), "Pigskin Parade" (1936) with Stuart Erwin and "Smoke Tree Range" (1937) with Buck Jones. He also appeared in the Henry Fonda crime picture "You Only Live Once" (1937) and the Charles Boyer drama "Algiers" (1938). Hall was most recently credited in "Manhattan" (WGN America, 2014-15). Hall continued to exercise his talent in the forties through the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "My Darling Clementine" (1946) starring Henry Fonda, "Elvis: The Great Performances" (CBS, 1991-92) and "Hotel de Love" (1997) starring Aden Young. His credits also expanded to "Monkey Business" (Showtime, 2000-01). Hall passed away in May 1985 at the age of 86.
